GOD’S NATURAL ORDER
Deut. 11:26 – 28, Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other God’s which you have not known.
God has given a command to the natural order of life and in His command He has designed the way in which we will either receive blessings in our lives or a curse if we refuse. His commandments are His word and His word is powerful and everlasting, His word will not return to Him void. Therefore since God has spoken it, it will be. God loves us and has chosen us, all of us, if we will only believe and trust Him. God’s ways and commandments are not there to make our life tough or to take away our fun. They are there to show us what is right and wrong. They are there to help us stay away from things that would pollute or defile our persons. His commandments are there so that He can have a loving relationship with us, for sin separates us from God therefore He had to let us know what would keep us from His presence. The greatest commandment of all is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind and the second is like it; you shall love your neighbor as yourself (Math. 22:37). God’s commandments are to bring us to a place of love for Him and for all. The greatest blessing a person can have is to have the Creator of the world with them in a loving fellowship.
The opposite of this blessing would be a curse. Listen, it is God’s way or no way and you can either like it or not but the bottom line is that God is just and fair and there is nothing in God that could possibly cause anyone to not trust Him. If a person doesn’t want God then that’s there choice and God is so loving that He will allow them to have there choice. If we choose to allianate God from our lives then we cannot complain or blame God when things go bad for us. And as we look around there may be times when we see people that seem to have it all and they're lives seem to be so complete, but, allianating God from our lives will only create a curse and whether it may seem so complete and perfect there is with no question a curse is coming forth upon the lives of those that have done such an abomination of refusing to love and trust God. And I'm not going to question God on why some things look or go in ways that seem contrary to His command. I know that God is the I AM and I trust in His ways of doing things. And the greatest curse of all is not having a loving fellowship with the Creator of the world.
John 14: 23, 24, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Fathers who sent Me.
So the same rule is applied in the New Testament as well. Once again we see that our love for God will be shown by our obedience to His word. And as we are obedient we will be drawn into a loving fellowship with the Father. It is our choice and as God has sent forth a command, a natural order of His ways, what will you choose? Listening and obeying God will draw us into the blessings of Him and having His control in our lives that will naturally come with blessings, and not obeying will draw us into a curse of not having Him and His control in our lives which will naturally create chaous and disorder and seperate you from the Father.
I pray that we will all seek fellowship with the Father through our faithful love of His Son and our obedience to His will.
God bless, Kevin
